Is this louis vuitton purse worth anything because of the handles being replaced?

Got a Louis vuitton bag at a second hand store. Its authentic. Has the code inside and all. The thing is I notice for some reason that the handles I think were replaced. You can tell as the real vuitton has the strips on the handles. Plus its different stitchings on the base of the handles where someone either put the handles either back on (I dont think they they are the orginal though) or replaced the handles. Either way, the bag was 39.00. And again ITS REAL. But is it worth anything because of the handles. Thanks.

honestly, when LV replaces the handles the bags look new again, so i am doubting that your bag is real (just because it has a code does not mean its real because those are faked all the time.) there are many other ways to authenticate, and no LV does not authenticate when you take a bag in to them, how about this, why dont you post pics and then i can authenticate and help you figure out what is wrong with your bag.

Codes inside mean nothing. If the people who take the time to counterfeit items can match the exterior exactly, then I’m sure they can also make up a number and stitch it inside a bag. Take it to a LV store, if it is real then have them replace the handles the correct way. It’s not that expensive to have done (although it will be more than you paid for the bag) but it will make the bag look completely brand new.
